Russ Russo | Francis, The Hammer
NYC stage and Film actor who was named Filmthreat
Magazine's "Indie Actor to Watch" in July
2006.
Has appeared in numerous NYC Off-Broadway and Off-Off
Broadway productions as well as in the gritty NYC cult hit
Land of College Prophets playing "Irish" Jonah Joe, a
role in which he gained 30lbs of muscle. He spoke with an
Irish brogue throughout filming, never coming out of
character, as documented in the Hale Manor Anthology dvd.
Russ Russo then won "Best Actor" at the 1st annual Wine &
Country Film Festival at Marth Clara Vineyards for his role
in the Feature film Williamsburg, out on Collector's
Edition DVD, with a 4 Star review by the New York Times.
Russ Russo has appeared with John Krasinski (The Office),
with a small role as 'Julio Cortes' in the bank heist film "
New Wave, and also with Lacey Chabert (Mean Girls),
William Sadler (Shawshank Redemption) and Dean Edwards
(Saturday Night Live).
Russ appeared in the film A Dangerous Place alongside
Kristen Dalton (The Departed). Most recently, the release of
London Betty, a quirky indie comedy feature,
alongside Daniel Von Bargen (Philadelphia, Seinfeld, Malcolm
in the Middle, The Postman) and Clint Howard (Far and Away,
Cinderella Man, Halloween H2O), in which Mr. Russo plays the
Russian "Volgo the Red". Critics have already raved "Russo
